Terms of service

These terms govern the agreement between Trond Grefsrud ("we", "us", the provider) and the business ordering a hand-built website ("the customer", "you"). By ticking the box and completing your registration, you accept the terms in the version shown above. The registration is non-binding — it starts no payment.
1. What you get
We design and build a bespoke website for your business — not based on a ready-made template — and host it on our servers. The subscription includes hosting, security, backups, automatic SSL certificate renewal, ongoing updates, and our carrying out changes to text, images and design for you on request.
Extensive rework or entirely new functionality beyond what was agreed may be arranged as a separate job. Ordinary ongoing changes are included in the monthly price.
2. Approval and start
After registration we get in touch and build your website. You get to see the finished result, and billing starts ONLY once you have approved the website in writing. Until approval no cost is incurred, and you are free not to proceed.
3. Price and payment
The subscription costs 3 000 NOK per month excl. 25% VAT (3 750 NOK incl. VAT). After approval we send a monthly invoice as a PDF to the email address you provided, payable to the stated account by the due date on the invoice.
4. Rolling agreement and cancellation
The agreement is a rolling monthly subscription with no lock-in period. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and the site stays up for the remainder of that period.
5. Failed payment
If an invoice is not paid by the due date, we send a reminder. If the amount still is not paid, the website may be temporarily taken offline until the outstanding amount is settled.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content on the website (text, images, links) and for ensuring it is lawful and does not infringe the rights of others. You register and pay for your own domain with a domain registrar and point it to our servers — we help with the connection itself. You are the data controller for the personal data of your own visitors.
7. Rights to source code
We own the source code of the website. You receive a right to use the website for as long as the subscription runs. You own the content you supply (text and images), and you may request a copy of it at any time.
8. Privacy
How we process your personal data as a customer is described in our privacy policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, a separate data processing agreement is entered into.
9. Changes to the terms
We may change these terms. Material changes are notified in reasonable time before they take effect, and the version number is increased. The terms you accepted at registration are stored so it is documented afterwards which version you accepted.
10. Liability and governing law
We strive for high uptime and security but are not liable for indirect losses. The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are sought resolved amicably; if necessary they are handled by the Norwegian courts.
